It seems Workstation v11-0-0-2305329 not longer works on 32-bits OS, oh what a shame Just when I need to test EFI support...
I knew you knew that ed- btw current installed 10.0.4 gets uninstalled and 11 will install. Needs new keys, guess I better check my email. I just downloaded it from the links here and installed. Didn't think about looking for my new keys lmao
From 7.0 (when I first used it) to 10.x, installer used to be around 500MB. Now it is 307MB. Have they lightened it up. Seems like this is the full installer with tools.
I think some of the weight loss is from GUI changes too. A lot more HTML etc VS all graphical images.
Very confused about your avatar. Is it you wearing a mask or your pet sporting hands. It could be a coincidence but my wife is always around when I am browsing a thread with your post/avatar. She remarked that this type of pet does not have hands. On the topic, smaller installer should mean smaller install size too?
So logically, it should have a smaller footprint when installed. I just installed VM 10.0.4 on a fresh system yesterday. Do not right now have the keys for 11. When I `get' the keys, the best way should be this? 1. Remove 10 2. Install 11.
When you run the v11 installer, it will uninstall 10 for you if you allow it, then ask for a key etc.
also now is a good time to purchase you want to be legit as it is on sale. worth it if you do alot of stuff involving vm and want that performance. just saying also vmware has been the only one that been able to run 3d software compared to virtualbox.
#already moderated Hmm ... posting a link to a pastebin list is one thing ... but obviously promoting such software here is definitely not allowed and beside that only a reason for DMCA or worse.
looks like Mr.X gets his early "X"-mas gift and gets to test EFI native in v11 arff its because of 32bit os. NM! lmao
Huih ... didn't realize he's using x86 ... definitely a show-stopper . And what you mean by 'native' ... a feature i don't now, as it seems .
