In VM 11.0, I had a major issue with Windows 10 b9926. It installed but it could give the correct resolution. The host display is 2560*1440 but the guest display was always off. This was not a problem with the prior windows 10 build (9879??). Has this issue been fixed in 11.1
Yes I will definitely try this. I usually keep display settings at default and prefer autoguest rather than autowindows. So maybe I did not disable 3D acceleration. The only major tweak I do is allocating memory and processor cores. Because of this issue, I had to delete TP9926 twice. Will try both this and installing 11.1 and see if it fixes the issue for me.
Thanks. Just disabling worked and I could create a new VM with w10 9926. So far nothing I could see in 9879 and 9926 that excites me. In fact, I found the start menu screen on 8 and 8.1 much easier. Just pin all the frequently used programs there. No need to update to 11.1 just to get this to work. Really miss the old versions of your avatar. Solidarity perhaps with TPB?
Glad you got it working, 11.1 and 11 are basically the same for this issue, so yeah no difference with that. I still got a few avatars, but most are NSFW and looking at the current one of mine is almost fitting. Rough seas, damned near sinking ship lol
Personally, I loved this product until version 11. But when they dropped "unity feature" for linux (guests as well as hosts) with a pretext that "it is rarely used" and "they have few employees that develop unity" I stick with virtualbox. And I also don't like their lack of virtual disk formats other than vmdk.
