    Please read what started this discussion, someone said it was weird that some post downloadlinks for VMWare products here, and provided an alternative (which doesn't offer the software posted here).
    We have the links, provided by @Mr.X so we're good.

    I'm using the slim installer and have seen no difference so far. So far I've installed and used Windows XP, 7 and 10 with the proper tools.

    Looks like VMware has stopped updating Workstation PRO 12, which is the last release supports older (CORE2) CPUs. :mad:
