Hey guys, can someone confirm if this is right... If i run the ActivationHelper.exe and it finds a activation server that is online, then i will be activated for 180 days? And this works on Win 8 Pro?
Unless you use a version of the activationhelper that uses an alias or forwarder address (that is populated with a working KMS address) you have to find a new KMS server yourself. The system will be activated for 180days. This works for Win8 Pro and Enterprise. No activation helper will automatically "find" a working KMS server fyi. It's really only 2 commands at the admin cmd you have to remember. All you need then is the IP (and possibly port) of a working KMS server.
At least i was able to automate my attempts via a autohotkey-script (using autoscript writer as a part of autohotkey). Waiting for permission to come aboard now....
Can I use the helper exe to activate only office 2013? I already activated win8 thanks to a phone call and dont want to mess it up. ~MC
he does as he stated in a later post. While I was on all people who I saw at the beginning left by the time I left. remember there are only 4 connections possible. with possibly 100s of people trying to connect it's a lottery.
@ashoktvm Add: Code: Loop, 1000 { at beginning of generated code and Code: } at the end. In "Loop, 1000" the variable "1000" couldt be set to any higher value Save, compile and start elevated. Hope it´s more clear now. EDIT: As in "Loop, 1000" the variable "1000" determines the count of loops to go, in "Sleep, 8000" the variable determines the waiting time in milliseconds.
Does this work on Windows 8 Enterprise Evaluation x86? If not can someone tell me how to extend the period from 90 to a longer amount of time?
