guys plz m very new to this activation.... kindly post the steps now ...as i have read the server is running now.....am excited to see how it works

disable AV firewall or any other and try. Avast was blocking Store in my case due to a setting "network share" that was checked....

i am right now using the activation tool posted on this thread in the beginning>>> all i did was added 147.134.1.42 to the txt file>>>>>>> correct me if am wrong

 

so you are just using MS essentials / defender

I had the same issue, Try disabling fast startup under power options and then reboot. It worked for me.

which version do you use? 8pro or enterprise?

 

You don't need that tool activate. In this instance with this kms server.
1. Right click on command prompt and choose run as administrator.
2. Type "slmgr -skms 147.134.1.42" without the quotes.
3. Wait for the confirmation.
4. Type "slmgr -ato" without the quotes.
5. Wait for the confirmation that it is activated

I don't know why some people are having such a hard time entering these simple commands.

Well. worked. But metro part of system still doesn't work. It's impossible to fix.
