    Well it's not someone's private server, it's a publicly accessible university server (kms.creighton.edu). It'll be gone soon enough. :p

    the 147.134.x.x seems to be dead for me (but it still responds to pings).
    Looks like I'm never online on the right time :p

    or he just doesn't care. I doubt he'll notice unless he regularly checks the activation count etc...

    Activated Windows 8 Pro x64 using Busykid508's method 2 pages ago.
    I did set my DNS to Google DNS too.

    Although you delete the server name, you are not deleting the PID of KMS. So M $ will know well. Use this command is not very useful
