Regarding the KMS server discussed above. Does it activate Win 8 Enterprise because I've tried several times and it says the server cannot be contacted.
Odd that I'm having trouble. My time and date are correct. The product key is the default installed (-CWCK7) and i've run the necessary commands in an elevated prompt.
checked the server a few secs ago and it is still running, so there must be something at your end. Check your time again and try several times to activate as sometimes it doesn't work with the first attempt
As a test I tried to reactivate my server 2012 datacenter (previously activated with thiel's server) and it does not work with the 147.x.x.x
is that true I can activate forever after activate by kms server when use this ( slmgr /dli ) in command prompt admin ?
simply run this command and after that look what your activation status reports. If it say activated until any date 180 days later it doesn't work. My guess: It doesn't work my two cents
I cannot activate my enterprise x64 by 147.xxx.x.xx? Or could I know any port rather than 1688? Thanks.
yes, very much true... try: slmgr /skms 147.---.-.-- slmgr.vbs -ato same server I activated 2 more laptops yesterday...
I've probably tried 20 times and all of a sudden it worked! I didn't change anything else. Strange, but finally activated Thanks.
