you are mocking us. how about you read the two posts above. page 99 top is what you have to use. Once it worked, don't post it though.
The only thing spamming servers are the desparate people in this thread. Windows only renews activation every seven days.
WHY do you need WMC after all? Anyway WIN 8 WMC won't activate. You have to fresh install the OS minus WMC. Then try to activate through KMS server available. After getting activated you could add WMC later on.
Those are those who "crashing" the KMS Server's and make impossible for other's to use them. "Stealing" from other's, to be more precise! What the h**l is the reason to multi-activate again and again, even on the same day? Ignorance, Egoism, Stupidity, Show Off or how to name that?
Sorry, I don't get it. I'm new on this. Should I run the... Code: slmgr.vbs /ckms or not? Will my installed copy of Win8 recheck the activation? Or just will be OK until 22/03/2013? Thanks!
Short answer: YES, run that command. Your activation will remains for 180 days in total, after that you have to re-activate for the next period of 180 days. Do not change the HDD, that would un-activate and be carefully with drivers. If your drivers are available from MS leave them running and do not change. Only if MS didn't have those drivers, use 3. party! Drivers are the other reason for to maybe get the OS un-activated. And last but not least: don not start to re-activate the OS multiple times! See my post for that above!
Its frustrating to see people activating the system 3 or 4 times a day. As PISTHAI said, its killing the server. After getting 180 days of activation there's no purpose to activate the same thing again and again. I think in 180 days of period, tens of another server/(option to activate) would pop up.
The person putting up the KMS server should write a small script which only accepts 1 activation every 24 hours. That will solve the problem.
Why? KMS server's weren't designed for noobfest 3000 which is what happens every time a server address is posted on these forums. If this server stays up longer than another few days I'll be very surprised. At some point they're going to notice the high load and look into the cause. The flood of requests on port 1688 will pretty much give it away.
Default activation lasts for 180 days. That's half a year! Adding an hour or two to that is like adding one second to an hour, it's a drop in the sea. Before all those days have passed there'll surely be someone who has found some other way to solve the whole the activation-hassle.
