Am trying to update the bios of this netbook from boot up as there is currently an issue with the bootmgr missing on boot up. Have downloaded the bios file and have downloadedd AFUDOS. If I try to turn the laptop on whilst pressing alt f2 all that happens is that it boots to bios. Ahve tried altering where the computer boot from...still nothing. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help.
Ah sorted. On boot up you press f4 to start the ez flash update. This command was hidden by the splash screen. The bios file was named as x101ch but not sure if it makes a difference as you choose the file. Updated but still a bootmgr issue.
