    Hi all,

Can anyone offer a clear explanation on installing a Vista ISO I have onto a Dell system that is still with a basic A01 BIOS and seemingly does not have SLIC?

Is it necessary for me to flash to a BIOS that includes SLIC to create a registered OS? Or can I simply run the Windows Loader on here to patch everything?

Sorry for the probably rather basic questioning but I am quite a novice with such and while I grasp the purpose of many of the tools on here, I am uncertain about the smoothest and most suitable way to apply them to my system.

Any assistance would be much appreciated, thanks.

First look at the SLIC BIOS thread to see if the modified bios is available for you Dell model. If not, do a request in the correct section. After modding the bios you can use Daz Loader. :)
