EnterpriseS has no Windows Apps - Invalid Icons leftover, and the upgrade is not necessarily a promising success. Agree?
Yes for saying that EnterpriseS has no apps installed but that's the reason people usually choose to install this version to get rid of those apps. For saying that's not always sucess, i don't know but what makes you think that ?
I don't think it can be considered as off topic, all we've been discussed here is related to this topic.
you sent me LTSB 2016 packages couple of days ago, i'm talking about these packages : Code: [Main package] Microsoft-Windows-Security-SPP-Component-SKU-EnterpriseS-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.14393.0 [Sub package] Microsoft-Windows-Branding-EnterpriseS-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.14393.0 Microsoft-Windows-Editions-EnterpriseS-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.14393.0 Microsoft-Windows-Security-SPP-Component-SKU-EnterpriseS-Default-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.14393.0 Microsoft-Windows-Security-SPP-Component-SKU-EnterpriseS-License-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.14393.0 (0ptional) Microsoft-Windows-Security-SPP-Component-SKU-EnterpriseS-GVLK-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.14393.0 For the conversion using your method, do you have to install all these packages or are there some of them that you can avoid to install ?
(I am about to go to bed.) Install the main package, and all sub-packages shall be installed together. And uniInstall the main package, all sub-packages together with language packs shall be removed.
ok, thank you my friend for all these information, i really appreciate all the answers you gave me, and sorry if i bothered you with all my questions but i really needed to unserstand well how the conversion works with your method and it seems to be the case now.
I need a Windows 10 LTSB x86 ISO download link that is clean. Does anyone have one? I don't trust torrent sites and I can't seem to find a x86 version anywhere.
I looked at about 10 thread and gave up as there seemed to be dead links and out of date posts everywhere. I've since found this website which has basically every ISO and the MD5s match for the few I tried. the-eye.eu/public/MSDN/Windows%2010/ Hopefully this link is of help to others
None of the links on the 2016 LTSB OP is dead, it's a maintained OP. @s1ave77 provided us with a tool that downloads all 2015/2016 LTSB and more iso's you can imagine: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...3-ltsb-2016-2015-server-2016-techbench.77028/
Yes indeed. This worked for me yesterday on a Win 10 Pro --> LTSC 2019. Do the regedit, and run setup from the ISO. All files, programs, settings left intact.
