Upgrade Windows 10 Home retail to Pro VL without Clean install

    Hi all,

    I have a Windows 10 Home retail, wondering if there is any possibility to upgrade to Pro edition preferably VL channel without losing any data ?

    Maybe it has to do with you having an online or linked account, never used that.

    With offline local windows account it simply works.

    You could try this with KMS_VL_ALL:
    - run AutoRenewal-Setup.cmd to install the emulator (remember to exclude the file noted)
    - run Activate.cmd (this is needed to set KMS parameters, it should skip your activated Home)
    - now try to upgrade with the gVLK posted earlier

    if this doesn't work, run AutoRenewal-Setup.cmd again to remove the emulator
