most likely is your anti is not win 10 compatible no app out theirs is now....is sending all kinds of false positives it thinks the OS is virus. i scan my 3 times with the windows defender is clean.

The leaked build is genuine :SmallAwesomeSmiley:

if there is indeed a backdoor or something, then it's MS responsibility

telemetry infrastructure is an already announced front door :D

I went back to 9879 because 9888 kept losing the wi-fi connection........and it was something to do. :D
I didn't have the wi-fi with any other build. Other than this issue, 9888 ran fine.

guys i dont think is a good idea to go back....just wait a few days to see if MS sends a few more updates that fixes more issues in 9888.

They won't publish fixes for non-published build

I have to agree with abbodi1406, I doubt MS is going to be updating a build that we are not supposed** to have. I keep image backups of all installs so going back and forth between builds is no big deal.

** we all know MS would never sneakily leak a build just for the sake of getting it out there...;)

Waiting for the next real "Leak" from MS itself, I think! Why really should bother with something which has infection's and even will not be 'supported' by MS? It's just a lose of time to use 9888!

It kept dropping the connection, not worth messing with for me. 9879 works fine, so I'll use it for awhile. May try 9888 again on another SSD at some point, like that saying says "it is something to do".
will say one thing for 9888, installed in on 2 Samsung Pro 850 256 GB SSDs in RAID0 - it was quick.
    running 9879 on 2 OCZ 150 120 GBs in RAID0 - pretty quick too.

I'm not an anti about anything regarding MS Product's, I'm just an anti of insecure software! Is that wrong?

After a total of 4 different installation of build 9888, using 2 different ISO's, and get the same infection of all of the 4 installs, that's the point for me to refrain from further using and it has noting to do whit any kind of 'anti'! That although other user's having similar problem, didn't has any say in my own decision.
And just to tell, the first time ever the connection to the internet was dropped by the system a few times in 2 of that installs and in an other of that, even the OS itself stopped to react a few times for app. 2min!

As I wrote already, Windows 10 is still in Alpha Stage and I do not expect that it be perfect in any means.

If you think that OS is clean, so it be (for you only, because you could tell that for you only and NOT any other person!)! That's your decision and I'm fine with that! But, it's my own decision to to what I want and I'll just do that, without that someone else has to tell me what I need to do!

are u running other 3 party software like network magic anything like that.....my point of view in this is we all d\l the same image....that means i should be infected to, i have not seen any issues like that on my boxes i did 2 install one on a desktop another on a laptop with no virus or connection issues....your comp mite have been infected already before 9888 upgrade.... wipe your HD and try a clean install see if the issues continue.

    downloaded from pauls jukebox

    decompressed with latest winrar

installed as admin within 7988 whis was running in ms account
9888 installed smoothly and was activated
ran ms defender full scan which found no threats
ran malwarebytes premium which found no threats
ran superanyispyware free which found only cookies
no problems so far, seems faster and smoother than 9879
