    Sorry about that rant.
I just have not seen anyone posting any info about this build anywhere.
Only in this one and it is all about "don't use it...Virus....does not activate and so on.
All the installs I have done so far have activated fine. so I don't understand why people can't activate.
One of my installs was a clean install and it activated. Did not have to put a key in or anything.

Anyone notice drag & drop operations won't work with a lot of apps in 9888? It's similar to when UAC is enabled (I keep it disabled).

I still get the GDI objects issue with Explorer as well... had to go back to 9860 explorer.exe.

I updated from 9879 to 9888 and everything works well No problems, was activated when I logged on, but I had to use the newest KMS from here to activate one of my machines cause I went from Enterprise too Pro and no MSDN nor any key would work. I had no viruses at all.

Strange I did a "Clean install of v9888 on USB to a Laptop" and had no issue it was Auto Activated after Reboot. and CLEAN in the sense of
Client Laptop 100% CRASHED would not Boot at all ....
Insert Windows 8.1 USB and FORMAT HDD....
(test install v9888 to Machine - Account made, and Reboot was Activated....)
was a NEW HP Envy 15z with uefi set...

That's what I did on two machines and both had the positive outcome. 9888 is more FAST and stable.

Sorry for being a bit offtopic, but I can't seem to find an answer to this.
How do I set up Windows to update with every new public build?
The build updater in "PC options" never finds a newer build than the one I'm running (enterprise 9841!!!).

I would still opt for the latest build aka leaked 9888 :cool2:. You can still download from the links given in the REPO and upgrade from them :g:.

You should be at least at 9860 Enterprise.
I'm currently at 9879 Enterprise - I choose "FAST" option in Preview Builds when I was on 9860, but don't recommend you to go since 9879 has a lot of problems.
    Better stay on "SLOW"
You can always download ISO of 9879 Enterprise and perform in place upgrade of 9841.
9888 Enterprise was not leaked, so you won't make in place upgrade - you will have to reinstall everything

sorry my friend, you can update your 9888 like if you had 9879 on disk. No worries because it is set to updating as usual
