Upgrading to windows 10

    Just curious can we upgrade now with the windows 10 preview or do we need way until its fully released ?

    You could save/backup a copy of your current OS, then upgrade to w10 preview to find out for yourself. If you don't like the result, just restore the previous OS.

    This is a good way to try something new. I think I just need to backup operation system. right?
    Maybe I can try the "system backup" feature with my free easeus todo backup. I this way, I don't have to manually select the system files one by one to backup.

    It would be better to do a complete backup for the whole partition to an image. If something goes wrong, just restore from that image.

    I was not talking about an Partition, I was talking about an whole HDD!!

    And please tell us: How big is the partition you backed up in MB/GB?

    The partition that I backed up is 33 GB used.
