windows password not bios password then.

 

Yea i forgot my password and now it says enter administrator password

 

i use the ntfs.com active@ boot disk to reset... the admin password = the username with admin rights.. not actual "administrator" name

So .....no luck at all. I even went on dell and downloaded the bios 12 and i cannot get the laptop to run them! I'm starting to think there is no chance of getting it done!,,

 

newer bios wont work with older password algorithm. some of them should work.

DID IT SHOW A12 on dell screen ???

 

Hello all. I'd like some help getting Windows 7 on a laptop but I can't get past the BIOS password. I don't know where the CMOS switch is and don't feel like opening it up.
