So apparently when installing Win7 I need to add the drivers to the ISO or USB stick along side Windows, but having never have done this, where can I find these drivers, I tried googling but really never came up with anything. Checked Device Manager from here in 8.1 and it says I have 'AMD USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 0100 (Microsoft)'. Thanks for any help.
Normally, for systems which don't have bootable usb2 ports (skylake+), the manufacturer of the mainboard has a tool to integrate the correct USB3 drivers in the boot.wim and install.wim. Otherwise it's just going to the manufacturer's support website and download the correct usb3 drivers.
Once you get your drivers, add them into install.wim with the right index for your os version and in boot.wim for pe and setup both 1 and 2. Intel has a pdf guide on how to do it. ...://download dot intel dot com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/installingwin7fromusbflashdrivesontousb30computers.pdf Good luck, if it doesn't work out just use Simplix it adds usb3 drivers for most manufacturers automatically, unless you specify /NoUSB option. You should be able to boot from NTFS usb stick too.
These Win7 ISOs are for the following brands: AMD Asmedia Etron Fresco Logic Intel 3/3.1 Renesas Gen 1/2 Texas Instruments VIA Thaks to @murphy78 Microsoft Windows 7 AIO 10in1 USB3 x32 x64 DUAL en-US murphy78
Does it exsist a universal usb3 driver pack that I can intergrade on my own to boot.wim to make it boot off different usb3 chips?
