My office computer lately has become a huge pain. I have tried 3 different mice, so its definitely not the mouse. 2 corded, 1 wireless. I will just doing my daily routine and it will suddenly stop responding. I am using a Dell Optiflex 745 with XP pro SP3. It has 6 ports, and i am using one of them for my USB keyboard which has never given me any issues. This has been going on for 3 weeks. Any suggestions? the only fix at the moment, is remove the mouse and re-plug it, it does not matter where, it can be in the already used port or a new one. A few minutes later, it will lose its connection. And i know is not the computer freezing because i can type on my keyboard or use it just fine as my mouse is gone (for the meantime).
