After upgrading to 7100 (I'm thinking now I should do a clean install), my USB ports suddenly stopped working. Obviously, the first thing I checked was the Power Management tab in the properties for each USB Root Hub in device manager, and sure enough, "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" was checked. I unchecked it, and all was well. However, after every reboot, the option is checked again. Does anyone else have this experience, or should I wipe out and do a clean install?
