I Have 2 Intel's MOBO with EFI BIOS, and can't mod. Than I like to know if the alternate NIC bios mod work in that mobos.

If the NIC's mod works only with easy or well-known mod bios, this is one more alternate way. But if it work in others more uneasy (Intel's EFI for instance), it open the first way to insert SLICs in that mobos.

Dont matter what motherboard you are using ...

You Flash the Card , Not the motherboard ...

The point been that , once CT Card is flashed , you can use the CT Card in any motherboard that as PCI-E slot ...

Or if you need a PCI card , then buy a GT card ....;)

    Intel on-board cards

I have 2 Intel mobos with On-board Intel NIC cards .
How do I know if they have flash chip that would allow me to load a modified rom.

How about checking on the Intel site about your individual motherboards and see what update software Intel has available??? If they have updates for the nic card available, that would be a good sign that it has a "flashable" chip.

By running the IBAUtil program as directed and reading what it says under boot rom type.

Those are likely simply drivers for the NIC device. Unless they specifically refer to files for updating the Intel Boot Agent. If they have files for that, then yes it definitely has a FLASH chip!
