Use PC box sticker product key or extracted SLP key?

    Newbie question: If I want to re-install Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 on my new Dell PC, can I use the retail version, and if so, do I use the COA product key on my PC or the extracted SLP key I got by using one of those extraction programs? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    You can use the COA key after install and activate on line.

    Or you can just use a the cert for DELL and the SLP key for dell to activate.

    Either way.

    How do you use the cert for Dell? I wrote down the COA product key, but some of the B's and 8's I can't tell apart.
