I recently attempted flashing a Compaq V6000 BIOS to latest F.42 version. Unfortunately lost power during flashing & bricked the BIOS. The motherboard would not power on at all so could not use any recovery methods.

I had a damaged HP DV6000 motherboard so I removed BIOS chip (identical to the V6000 BIOS - SST 39VF080) & soldered this onto the V6000 motherboard. I flashed the V6000 BIOS onto this using PHLASH17 and it all works fine. Just a few things I would like to change if possible & if anyone can give any help or advice:

    - Firstly the HP Pavilion logo on the splash screen - I've managed to change this back to the Compaq logo by using Phoenix BIOS Editor pro.

    - I still need to change the following details still but have no idea how to & don't know if it can be done with Phoenix BIOS editor:

    -Notebook model
    -Board ID
    -Serial No
    -UUID no

Would appreciate any help or suggestions:)
