report was sent to MS already, so "display files to send" button/link is not there... ...however the dump files are still stored on your PC... ...maybe some more recent error, which wasn't sent yet, could guide you to location... ...unfortunately I can't check it, because my Windows don't have any error issue in history at all )
May help: 1. sc stop UnsignedThemes 2. sc stop uxstyle 3. HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\uxstyle\Parameters - Set EnableLogging to 1 - Set LogFile to X:\log.txt or whatever you want 4. sc start uxstyle 5. sc start UnsignedThemes 6. Share log.
Oh that's perfect news, I didn't know that because I didn't got to download it and the links are down because of a bug
I recently got a few reports about black screen issues caused by UxStyle in Windows 8.1. Is there anyway to prevent this? I tried the following methods to fix here below but still didn't solve the problem so far. 1. Tried re-applying default theme in default user account and added services in safemode. 2. Re-apply permission for system files Black screen bug still come randomly. I'm running out of ideas to fix it right now.
Yeah I believe there's a bug where the WiX bundle/MSI will locate the drive with the most space and try to install there. I ran into this years ago with previous WiX packages so I'm sure I'm missing something. Should have it fixed soon.
