Select Language for non-Uniccode programs - English (United States)

服务器上有旧的虚拟机是基于dell的BIOS创建的，17393及之前vmwp都可以顺利使用，现在用v-tools修改的文件好像不含BIOS信息，导致虚拟机无法进入系统，好几台没法用了，所以来求助了。或者说，是不是我修改的有问题？昨天正好在网上找，也找到了你在国内发表的一些好文章，准备向你学习。

sorry I was referring to the rar file with pre modified hyper V files. I must be doing something wrong as I cannot get this to work on my Windows 10 Enterprise machine.

I have extracted V-Tools and copied the Dell SLIC 2.4 (DELL[PE_SC3]2.4-2B4E6B10.bin) renamed to SLIC.bin into the 4_SINGLE_MOD folder. I have copied both the vmchipset.dll and vmwp.exe from my Windows\System32 directory into the 4_SINGLE_MOD folder also.

When I run either V-Tools Multi Mod or V-Tools Single Mod, no errors occur but I do not see any new files generated in the 4_SINGLE_MOD folder. The time stamps on the original files do not change either.

Am I doing something wrong?

Any help / suggestions would be appreciated.

just to follow up to my last post. I removed the Key.txt file and only had the SLIC.bin and vmchipset.dll in the 4_single_mod folder. After running v-tools single mod a successful vmchipset_mod.dll file was generated. RW everything identifies the 2.4 SLIC tables are present

I would also like to use windows 10, does anyone know what msdm key needs to be used?

Not that easy, OA3.0 OEM:DM keys are unique for each system.

Does V-Tools support Windows 10 RS1 Hyper-V now?I have tried to mod vmchipset.dll v10.0.14393.447 (rs1_release_inmarket.161102-0100), everything looks fine. But when I install vmchipsetMod.dll to \Windows\System32, It does not work.

 

Yeah, I think the 'vmchipset.dll' in W10 has changed so much the tools can't mod it.
Hopefully they'll be a fix for when SVR16 gets up dated

 

Can anyone else confirm if you are unable to modify vmchipset.dll from Windows 10 1703 (OS Build 15063.138).
