hello all,ive an old fujitsu laptop including the original vista 64 recovery CDs and correct PK sticker.now I want to install/recover vista but it says there is a HDD error when trying to use the recovery CD but I know there is not because its running W7 & XP64 just fine. I just want to put vista back on it for now.the only thing that is different from original is that it has a smaller HDD 60gb instead of the 500gb one that came in it so that must be why the recovery CD is having a fit. Ive tried everything to get it to work, put it on USB with rufus, cloned it directly on the HDD with clonedisk file copy feature and it booted up and still says HDD error LOL!anyway, how can I get vista on this machine with this recovery CD? can i somehow convert it to a regular install CD or something? thanks
