Had a current setup of Vista Ultimate on gigabyte mobo. Slic 2.0 with ASUS cert. Upgraded BIOS to a SLIC 2.1 (want to try 7 out via duallboot) with a DELL cert. Loaded up Vista and found out I lost my activation...anticipated this would happen. Loaded new Dell cert then loaded (I think the same) ultimate key. It told me activation was successful but I lost my genuine logo and I have a "copy of windows in not genuine" on lower right of Desktop now. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Does SLIC 2.1 not work with Vista (like 2.0 does)? Can you not dual boot 7 and vista on same PC (mobo)? SLIC dump shows things are OK...
