Same problem w/ GA-P35-DS3L Hello, I tried all different mods I could find for my board in the forum, but all have the same S3 problem. At the moment, only BIOSes F1 to F8 are available, and I can confirm that it happens with both F7 and F8 mods. Greetings, Stupiddog
Yesterday, i tryed 2 versions of BIOS with mods (F9 and F12) on my GA-965P-S3 - the problem is not resolved.
Bricked my Board. I tried the OEM7 Mod, the flashing went fine but after the restart the board would only beep a few times, shutdown, then startup again with the same result. I now have rev 2.1 back from RMA. I'm not sure if I should try again as the problem seems to lay elsewhere.
well I have a GA slic made from pub marker and key but no ga cert for vista to see if this fixes the sp1 sleep issues. Another thread asked if someone can send me a cert from a w series ga laptop but no luck...guess stuck until then to see if this fixes ga stuff
Hi, Totally noob here and my message is completely useless, sorry... I have this dmi, poll data problem on my P35-DS4 rev 2.0 BIOS F11. I tried to clear cmos, qflash, but it's all the same.... Is my MBR damaged ? Please help me... and crying
What is the same? DMI data should be cleared if you choose clear DMI within QFlash when flashing BIOS. That's for sure! But my case is that the SLIC stay the same in my BIOS even if I flash a offical Gigabyte F11 BIOS. So I don't need to worry about slic at the moment
I did that : Qflash and option "disable" by "keep dmi data". After Qflashing, BIOS settings still there, SLIC
P35-DS3R rev1 sleep and Vista activation. Hello all, Is there a solution yet for Vista losing activation after S3 sleep mode on Gigabyte P35-DS3R rev. 1 board and similar Gigabyte boards? PGDO
No have a ga slic but no cert to determine if that fixes it. Need a cert from a GA W series laptop but seems no one owns one or wants to help.
1. CMOS data and DMI data may be not the same. You need to use the jumper to clear CMOS. 2. Yes, the SLIC for vista oem activation. I said in my other thread. Even when I flash some BIOS without mod, i.e. one from Gigabyte site, the SLIC info I read from Everest stays the same, under ACPI table. And my vista installation keep staying activated. No crack, loader etc. used. And tried many system installations.
I did that. I think it's because I launch a tool without admin privileges. So what I did (DMI pool data pb) : Repair console with /fixboot and the vista dvd rearm licensing Vistaloader Sorry that I posted here.
Just installed the final of SP1 on my media centre, and noticed I had 15 days to activate after S3 sleep as well, but upon reboot all is fine - i'm using the vistaloader softmod, and had the F1 bios then updated to the F7b BIOS on the GA-G33M-S2. Really annoying!
