I used a vista oem crack install with the bios emulator, asus version, I don't know much about it, it did the installing and all that for me. I noticed that it looks like it uses grub to boot and then start vista.

Can I dual boot a Linux distro without messing up the bios emulator? Any ideas how or a guide would be really handy and appreciative, unless I can just install as usual, thanks for your time. :)

I have installed Ubuntu after Vista. It doesn't remove the Vista loader BIOS emulator. You can safely install Ubuntu after Vista. Don't know about other distros.
