The activation is not important at this stage... We have to avoid the error message, and after that only using the right cert and key on a real machine would do it. The error message is not coused by the cert and the key.
Maybe somebody can tell me why there isn't any Asus oem logo in computer info window in Vista SP1? In the clean Vista there was always oem manufacturer logo. I've used asus source folder from this thread.
Got it..tested it on a VM and on real machine.. Now we can make any custom OEM DVD we like.. I've deleted all the links that I have provided... Tomorow I will update them all with working ones. Anyone in a need for a custom OEM DVD with custom logos, wallpapers, manufacturer info e.c.t. Do a request... Finaly I will make one list of all custom OEM DVD's that I make.
I use Windows AIK to add the bitmaps and such then Autounattended.xml and oobe.xml to add my logos to the registry and stuff
For my previous post and those who has downloaded from the links. Excuse me if I've coused you any trouble. I've made a sintax error in the scripts. Do not use the OEM folders in my previous post to install Vista. Note. Sorry that I havent warned you earlyer..I've had an internet connection problem right after I uploaded the OEM folders. I will repair all the links in the next 30 minutes.
Dell Ultimate (Dell M08 cert) I'd like 1 for Dell Vista Ultimate for the Dell M08 SLIC (new Dell Vostro 1510). Can't find it anywhere! I have Vista Business preinstalled and preactivated but want to update to Ultimate, just like I did with my Toshiba laptop which worked perfectly.
