ATTN: Petar and all the others who have contributed to this thread. I just want to say "Thank You" to all. This is exactly what I hoped for when I started this thread. Actually it is even BETTER than I expected. I really appreciate everyone's hard work. My hope was to be able to make any OEM DVD that we wanted with just a few simple steps and it's really working out great!!!
I am planning to install vista ultimate into a bios-modded pc. I have a vista RTM DVD and I found in the OEM folder there are several sub-folders like homebasic, homepremium and ultimate etc. I am using MagicISO to edit the image of that vista. Is it just to delete the OEM folder and replaced with one I downloaded named "$OEM$"? Hope somebody can help me.
From the screenshots i noticed, that oem folder is inside license. That folder really consists of several folders HomePremium, Ultimate, etc. but inside them are the license terms, which appears when you install. The $ОЕМ$ folder must be in SOURCES (ex. Sources\$OEM$). It's not necessary to delete the folder you mentioned. Just add the downloaded folder in SOURCES and everything would be ok.
He has no $OEM$ folder in his RTM DVD. What's the problem to add the correct folder and install on a modded bios pc?
How do you know that? As far as I know, all 4 Dell SLIC tables (M08, M07, B8K, BMK) use the same certificate. Certificate CRC should be DD981F15. Would it possible to upload your Dell M08 SLIC table so that I may confirm this. I don't have Dell M08 nor Dell BMK SLIC.

You cant upgrade to Ultimate, you will have to reinstall Vista. On how to make the OEM DVD, read the first couple pages of this thread.
