    I just downloaded/installed this via WU -

    Vista SP2 Servicing Stack Update Build 16497 for x86 (KB955430)

    Installation date: ‎30/‎10/‎2008 20:52

    Installation status: Successful

    Update type: Important

    Beta: Install this update to enable future updates to install successfully on all editions of Windows Vista SP1. This update may be required before selected future updates can be installed.

    I'm assuming this isn't actually SP2 but rather a preparatory update for it?
