I have recently reformatted my laptop and installed Windows Vista. However, I am experiencing a lot of trouble when installing updates; about half of all updates failed to install and I received a few diffferent error codes. I then read about people who were experiencing the same thing and they said to delete everything in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution which I did. Then everything was fine until it came to installing SP1. Now I have received yet another error code: 80070057. This is really starting to annoy me! Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
