911medic, I never questioned your files. I never had access to them because the urlisdown.org link was no longer good. I only had access to the files in the link provided by Sherman Tank. Also, I don't know much about writing and compiling scripts. The best I can do is unpack a Winzip executable. I never decompiled anything more than that. So, I have to rely on antivirus software to tell me what is safe and what is not. The autoitscript.com forum article is helpful. This forum is an amazing resource of information, for which I am thankful.
who are you talking to ? and what links if it is first page links are down we know that if it is mediafire link there is nothing wrong with it.
@ virtualguy . While your concerns are understood ,as Urie said you have been told by two moderators and the author that the files are good. Files from this forum are clean. @ 911 . If I recall correctly weren't you advised to use a different method of packing the software to avoid the false positives ? Any possibility of re doing it ?
urie, no trojan is going to infect a file just because it is downloaded to the Downloads folder. That would be a senseless way for a trojan/virus to achieve its goals. Nothing else I download has been mysteriously infected. Obviously, the file you scanned was not the same file as the file I scanned. My antivirus program is Avira, which *does* detect the Bifrose trojan. I scan the system regularly and have not had any such alerts. Your scans on virustotal alerted to Autoit, mine did not. So, obviously the files are not the same. If you had scanned the same file, you would have gotten the same results. Your assertion than my computer is somehow to blame is a curious and unfair attempt to focus blame other than where it belongs.
Yep..maybe just put naked script in the file and pack with winrar or 7zip. I just wanted originally to keep everything compact..the onlything not sfx in the package being shared now is the changer.exe itself, and it is just a batch file in a wrapper..nothing more..Simply change the .exe with the .CMD in the tools folder and there is nothing except the AntiWPA that may be iffy...I will fix this and upload a different pack..
I think thats the wise move. It still evades me as to why some foolish mortal reported it as malware in the first place.
