    Downloaded the OEMBIOSCHANGER.

Before running it, checked my installation with OOBE_CHECK, it says 'Windows is Activated.'

Now if i use MGADiag Tool & it will not pass WGA Validation, will it give an permanent notification?

Used the tool. Now is there any way to verify the success of the tool without going through WGA?

My only apprehension going through WGA Test is just in case the tool was not a success, MGADiag Tool does not validates my OS, will it leave a permanent notification on the OS as Non-Geniune?

use the activation check..oobe tool in the changer..Then do the WGA test..

If you used a crack or the antiWPA thingy..this is all for naught.. You MUST remove all cracks to be genuine..What kind of computer do you have and is the install retail, oem, or "pre-activated"

I have an assembled desktop on which I installed XP Pro SP3 from an ISO provided by tcntad & used an VLK Key.

Also, letting 'OEMBIOSCHANGER' folder in Drive C: should be of concern?

@ Parry, the reason you system is activated is because you used a VLk key but you can be almost guaranteed when you run MGADiag Tool it wont validate because VLK key is probably blacklisted.

    Parry,

You are already activated. So, you must now validate your windows and by OEMBIOSCHANGER you can insert the right bios files into your MB and go online and validate your windows and then use the MGADiag tool.

Activation and Validation (online) are different things...

    Thanks mohamedkamel for replying.

Yes I used OEMBIOSCHANGER & inserted the BIOS files. I had already checked that my installation was activated with OOBE_CHECK.

Now comes confirming Validation. I have not used MGADiag Tool after inserting the Uncompressed BIOS Files.

My only apprehension going through WGA Test is just in case the OEMBIOSCHANGER was not a success, MGADiag Tool does not validates my OS, will it leave a permanent notification on the OS as Non-Geniune?

I hope I was able to clarify now.

If MGADiag tool flagged you "Non-Genuine", you'll have a permanent notification on the OS as Non-Genuine but maybe after 30 days, and of course if you connected to the internet...

    Hope this answers your question.

Yes, it does. Does that assures my OS will validate on running MGADiag Tool?

Great, finally that is the answer I am looking for.

That is why I was asking for any other alternate way to confirm validation before going through MGADiag Tool, as it will leave a permanent Non-Geniune Notification.

In case of Non-Validation, will it leave a permanent notification on the OS?

Then what are the options of removing it? Re-Install?

Also, read somewhere that XP Pro SP2 x64 does not need to pass through Validation?
