    Thanks a million!

    This helped me so much it's not funny. I applaud the creators and thank you a million times. I was trying to virtualize a server that was flipping out because of the bios. This made it work like a charm. The funny thing is It was an original oem install with an upgrade using an open license(still wouldn't work).

    Anyway thanks a bunch.

    hello....came here by accident.

    I was looking for an alternative BIOS for dell computers in Google more suitable for upgrades, memory limitations, video card limitations, etc. This file is it a complete bios replacement for any Dell Computer? if YES how do you replace it?

    No this is not a bios for a dell or any physical computer it is a bios to be used with VMWare Workstation so you can use OEM SLP activation for dell windows 7.

    Then Im in the wrong page... where I can find Bios modifications for dell workstations to increase or modify bios features like video card limitations of 256MB, etc.

    Sorry, wrong forum most modifications here are for adding slp 1.0 and slic2.1 for windows activation.

    For VMWare Windows activation using the Dell OEM disc you'll want to check out the VMware Workstation/Player (Multi-Brand) Bios Installer thread. It works for the latest VMWare 7.1.4 and is amazing. I just spent 3 hours looking through old forum posts and missed it so hopefully this helps anyone else "on the hunt!"
