Hi, I would like to test Final Cut Pro 7 or X in VMWARE. I have no Mac hardware. Unfortunately, the software doesn't work. The installer shows that system requirements aren't met. Could I turn on or emulate OpenCL or Quartz Extreme?

    Hi there!
    Unfortunately Apple does not allow
macOS to be run in a virtual machine because installing Mac OS on VMware Workstation, is a violation of Apple's EULA which prohibits running Mac OS on non-Apple hardware.
Virtual machines can never take full advantage of the host hardware, because there's always something running underneath it that it has to work through.
I don't know any solutions for virtualization.
One solution is turn your pc to Macintosh..

Note: If you don’t want to turn your PC into a Macintosh, there are plenty of video editing options available for Windows.
