    @_Lunchbox_ ... for now, at least, you should use latest Unlocker as per @sebus comment ... if I need to test any Unlocker patcher, I will remember your offer :)

    @Josh Cell ... I don't understand that you need to restart to show "APP Icons" :confused:

    Bios Patching doesn't touch any icons.

    also, vmware.exe is not touched by patcher.

    maybe "Uncleaner" delete cached icons, and icon cache need rebuild???

    Well, this isn't an "Problem"...

    Simply I need restart the computer to get back the icons again;

    I haven't sure if it occurs on all systems.

    v315-339 worked successfully on my VMware Workstation 8.0.2.591240. I selected Dell, auto patched and installed a "Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Dell OEM UNTOUCHED ISO" I got from the torrents. Didn't even ask me for a serial number. After installation completed, the VM system was branded Dell and activated, and Windows was running normally. This was too easy! Maybe because I used a Dell Windows OEM and my host PC is a Dell made things go smoothly, I don't know.

    @ searchengine

    I want to thank you and the rest of your crew for sharing this and for all your effort and hard work. I really appreciate it.

    Did you even bother to check hash?

    Yes I checked the md5 hash on the ISO before I burned it to a DVD. It turned out the hash was identical to one one of the OEM's dicussed elswhere here on this forum titled: "Windows 7 Ultimate Dell OEM - NOT cracked". So much for "untouched". But it's still activated after all the Windows Updates.

    But how can one tell if an ISO OEM is really genuine? Dell doesn't provides hashes for their OEMs and there's no DVD to compare it to.

    Back in 2009 I activated Windows 7 on my Dell PC the right way (it came with Vista so no SLP 2.1 SLIC). I got a modded bios with 2.1 SLIC elswhere here on this forum, got the genuine Windows 7 Ultimate RTM Build 7600.16385 (MD5: F43D22E4FB07BF617D573ACD8785C028), and used the OEM SLP method and it was activated. But this procedure did not work on VMWare. Then I found this thread here and after I did the bios mod in VMWare, I figured if I got an straight OEM version of Windows it would be simpler than spending a lot of time tinkering with OEM certificates, keys, $OEM$ folder, and activation.

    You have to trust members (like myself) that have original ISO & publish hash of it

    I take it due to the fact that the first page does not have the under reconstruction header that there will be no updating all the brands to the 339 bios?

    When I try to run the program, it locks up on "Elevating permissions for x64bit process...".

    I have ensured that it isn't. I closed out of every VMWare process in process explorer. I've even attempted to run in safe mode.

    I thought maybe you were using an older version I could have uploaded older version of patcher but the vmware bios is older :( Have you tried running patcher as Admin mind you that shouldn't be needed as patcher runs with Elevating permissions.
