    i understand why this has been unstuck..
    but i think this deserves to remain stickied.
    this has been here since the beginning..
    this post is the OG... often immitated, never duplicated.
    one day.. when this is all over and we look back.. this post was one of the landmarks people will remember about MDL.

    Note: although it does not state VMware 12, it still works. i am using VMware 12.5.4 and still working for me.

    it's simpler to use, fully automatic, quick, efficient, supports a greater number of OEMs, and just an overall great tool.

    * the other one, which this was unstuck for, requires additional modding, reading and only supports Dell OEM!

    i vote for this to remain a sticky.. it's still highly useful.

    It replaces the newer firmware with older one which will introduce many issues, and thus not recommended at all.

    BTW, It doesn't work for me with VMware Workstation 14. So, RIP to this legendary piece of great modding?
