tkirill I do not think so - the build date of pre beta sp 1 = 27.03.2010(7601.16537) zukobonus 9.1 = 26.02.2010(7600.20655) so the date are for me the argument to wait another beta than zukobonus-this does not means that i do not respect the work of zukona, but service pack is more valuable.
Yes,but in the list is not mentionated what version are they all - so in the old build could be a old versions(7600.20655) of more updates. In service pack ofcourse all of them are updated. tkirill Zukona told you something about the new builds? It is posibile in this month a leak of new version?
He told me that Beta was not chosen yet. It can be 16537, but it can other build. And the build of Beta will leak (if it hasn't leaked yet).
Installed Windows 7 SP1 Beta and it trashed my Windows. It won't even let me uninstall SP1 beta. Have to reinstall Windows 7. I will wait till the RTM of SP1 comes out.
I've decided that i'm going to test every pre-release version of SP1 that either leaks or will be released by MS, so far i've had no problems with build 16537.
If you do a disk clean-up and remove the files that are needed to un-install that will happen. I found that out with Vista sp2 and Win7. What is the general concensis, Zuka bonus or sp1 beta? If sp1 was like Win7 it would be less time consuming if that were true (un-installing beta then installing newer beta, rc, escrow, etc)?
You know this all surprises me so much. There is always speculation about what will be included in a service pack, especially what anti - piracy measures M$ will include. Yes there will be hotfixes and tweaks and maybe some minor improvements to the OS. Overall if your system is running well already are you really going to notice much difference other than the version number given in Winver.exe. Many people dont seem to trust M$ about what they will include in SP1 so why are people in such a rush to get a leaked SP. Can the source be trusted really ? Why trust them and not M$ ? Ask yourself....... Is your system running just fine right now ? Do you really even need Service Pack 1 ? Will you remain genuine after installing SP1 ? Just my 2 cents
a little update on this sp1 and the leaked updates, i checked all the dates and this sp1 is newer then the leaked updates.
all files inside SP are dated with SAME date, so this is totaly irrelevant. Did you read releaselog maybe and see for your self what updates are in? i mean... yes its so easy just needs some reading skills.
thank you solor for the post, i guess i will stick with the leaked updates until a newer SP is released
My BigAndFree link has been deleted for copyright (Microsoft, how can you put copyrights on a free Service Pack? Not so smart from you) I'll upload it back ASAP.
