I just got it down and there are some documents attached. According to them this version of SP1 includes updates up to KB979745. IF this is correct that means mid february.... so we might be better of with updates... however for some reason i cant imagine this being correct :s
And now for the million dollar question: Does SP1 include the security release that breaks Windows 7 Activation Cracks? I've been avoiding any updates (not just the KB971033 mentioned, but ALL of them in paranoia) since I got wind of that being on WU.

Well with bios mod and SP1 im still activated (duh, dont know why people are making such a big deal out of this...). Btw theory how you can intergrate SP1 in to install dvd (example for x64)... 1. windows6.1-KB976932-X64-INTL.exe -x (pick a folder where to extract) 2. intergrate windows6.1-KB976902-X64.cab and windows6.1-KB976932-X64.cab (this other one might be enough) with DISM in to install wim. 3. done! didnt try it tho, to late... need to sleep :<
Might it be due to the Forces from the OEM's they removed that update. may be included in RTM, I would better wait till RTM.
I'm not too picky with Software but when it comes to the big thing such as Security Patches (SP's) then I actually have to pay attention lol... I'd rather wait until this at least hits beta status or even RTM before giving it a shot cause if my OS goes down that would not be too pretty... I'll check back into this in probably when its close to hitting RTM or even RC thanks for the info though its very helpful to know thou... Personally I wished they would put a little more functionality into finger printing cause third party software just doesn't work...
Guys make sure the links you post are 100% legit. 'KM-Software' made an unofficial SP1 for Windows 7 a week ago - It's just a bunch of updates integrated in an .exe. Make sure your links are for this OFFICIAL SP1 Beta and not that stupid 'KM-Software' unofficial SP1.
Well tkirill this comes directly from Microsoft and has not been modified in any way. Not even the filename. Check everything you want, digital signature etc.. It is real what more can I say? I can't tell where our member got it from but he's the one who leaked many Windows 7 BETA builds in the BETA days as well as the MAK key that only lasted about 2 weeks because people have put it everywhere on the net. He is a trustfull source don't worry.
But is it that Beta that will be available for everyone? I think that Wzor or Zukona can clear it for us
It comes from DUSTPAN (I'm not mad, his name is in caps, lol) he leaked many builds of Windows 7 like 7127 if I remember well.. His name is on the first post of this topic.
