    It's a VMware test pc, and I have already erased it, to do a new test on it. So I can not test it, but do Aero work on Vmware Server VMs?

    Aero works with Vmware 7.0 or later, after you install vmware tools (vmware VGA video driver needed). Your host pc needs to support Aero itself.

    Does this beta version of SP1 add an expiration to the OS that makes it so you have to remove the SP1 beta to install the final retail version? I know vista had beta SPs that did that.

    Installed SP1 on a Home Premium x64 French. All ok, including AERO that works perfectly : Aero shake, Aero peek, rotating windows ....

    No notable difference found.

    Daz loader working also.

    I used the express upgrade option to ultimate , and it worked fine too. The only thing I noticed then is that windows update doesn't show me the 34 optional updates related to multi languages anymore. Without SP1, I had this possibility to add languages, even after doing an express update to Ultimate.


    Evaluation date expire On July 1, 2011 1h59'59 am (info from MGADIAG tool v1.9.0019.0).


    Genuine validation (WGA) on microsoft site passed OK.
