I'm confused. What's the difference and/or advantage to have these keys? Furthermore, is this legal or is this something that Microsoft could invalid in a couple of weeks. Finally, what language packs are available? Thanks
Interesting find We all got the Ultimate ISO that M$ released. What if you enter the Home Premium key during the installation of 7 ?
Do you have a Home Premium key? I tried to install Home Premium with a Ultimate key - didn't work. I'd love to try Home Premium - but no key.
So they do - guess I'll install it and see what I end up with. ETA - I installed it, ended up with Home Premium - then went into the SOURCES folder, deleted the ei.cgf file, re-ran setup and was given the choice of installing Home Basic, Home Premium, Ultimate, or Business - just like the original 7000 public beta iso. - SO - based on this experience I've decided the only difference is the default version for install - your views may vary.
Doesn't have either of those - haven't activated it yet. May use one of the patches, or may wait to see if a key turns up somewhere - have 30 days. Is it good or bad they are not in Home Premium?
What's wrong with just using the Ultimate edition? Also, they're not giving out keys anymore in the "Windows Ecosystem" connect beta program.
