If this problem has not been solved yet, yes this is the problem, the OEMBIOS and WINNT.SIF goes in the AMD64 folder, not in the I386 as on the X86
I am trying to make a Dell XP OEM 64-Bit disc. My source is a VLK x64 iso. Iim adding the following files to the AMD64 directory. Is this right?
Looks ok, but make sure the rest of the files, minus the four OEMBIOS, are from a x64 Retail source and the two text based files, SETUPP.INI and WINNT.SIF, are setup correctly for x64.
Sorry, but I want to create my oem xp, since I have my own xp 64 retail (sp1) n I've slipstream with sp2 so what should I've to download the oem version if we can make ours? The worse things is the internet connection r very slow n sometimes it disconnect so if I download ur link I have to start it over, but anyway thx for the offer lateshift! (it took 1 day to download file with size 599 MB, so u know why I dont want to download large file)
@ ar_seven_am, why are you using sp2 rather than sp3 also to be honest xp x64 aint that good it always had bother with driver and software support.
I've been using xp sp3 bout 1,5 year, since it first release at 2008 (it's the first time i met my wife) n yesterday my brother give me extra ram 2 GB, due hardware capabilities of 32 bit who can't read RAM 4 GB so I decide to move in 64 bit n I know xp 64 had problem in software n hardware support but I wanna try n solve it (u know me urie, if i want to be easy I will not know u n veegert also, right)
So could someone clear this info up for me ! Intel pentium architecture would be I386. AMD thunderbird etc would be AMD .... yes..no! or is I386 Folder for itanium systems with the itanium prosessor so that the AMD Folder is for all other 486 platforms. pls could this be cleared up as there look's like there is some confusion and now so am I
Thank you oz ... But still have no idea why there are two sources folders in this version I386 and AMD maybe someone could clear this up once and for all .. would be nice to know. so the bios oem files go in the AMD folder not the I386 folder.
Hi Tito, No I was searching for the pidgen and dpcdll.dll, but I already found the xdelta files for my iso to an OEM one. hxxp://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/26911-The-Windows-XP-Repository?p=739421&viewfull=1#post739421
