Nice work on the installer Well i kinda figured silver would be out, i am sure there are one or 2 other colors people would like to see.If that is something you have time to do that would be awesome to be able to have 3-4 different colors to choose from, allowing people to switch it up.
What do you mean by "extract the image after?" As in, are these the "Windows red" which I would then replace my red with? I kinda wanted orange-red, but for some reason it seems that doesn't work... With my orange-red, it's definitely different, but if I have to have universal red, I guess I'll take that. For future reference, do you have any idea why editing from green->blue produced no errors but trying orange-red produced issues? I wanted to make a whole score of other colors (silver, purple, dark green, black-ish) but if they all are going to act like my orange-red attempt I see no point.
Well... what you could do is, trial and error. Edit all your images as you like, then add them two at a time and check which ones are causing the problems. My guess would be it's either 656 or 1018. I'm really not sure why playing with the hue is causing problems like that -- it really shouldn't -- but my guess is, it's messing with a color that should be transparent. Alternatively it could be that changing the colors twice results in colors that cause issue, and you could try editing the original aero.msstyle resources changing them from Green to Orange-Red. It obviously CAN be done, as it was changed from Green to Blue, so I would say just keep at it. Unless someone here knows some trick (Maybe you could talk to Tomorrow about it..), I think you'll be on your own for the most part. This really has me confused.
I am currently working on another Windows 7 Tweak.It will be very easy to implement(does not involve changing system files or such) and it will make finding things easyier and configuring the system faster Simple and elegant .Cant give you a release date yet,sorry.
Could you fill us in on how you recolored the bars in the msstyle? Every time I try to recolor them myself, I end up with the same problem that Sovereign has.
