Installed VAMT 3.0 Installed SQLexpress Setup both and can connect to server. Now in VAMT do I need to add the key from the KMS Host where it says add key? Have done that OFFLINE and it says key is not valid, also blocked vmat.exe or what ever it is in my firewall. So do I need to have the key working in VAMT in order for it to start seeing activation's on the KMS server? Im kind of lost at this point....if anyone has VAMT up and working can you point me in the right direction, I read the VAMT forum but I think its dead. I also followed M$ Instructions for connecting or activating with KMS but I think it needs a key or something to that matter. Thanks Guys!
I had installed sqlserver 2012 sp1 and vamt 3.0 on windows 7 enterprise - 64bit. when "Refresh product key data online" command executed, an error "the request failed with http status 417: exprectation failed" occured. h t t p://s6.postimage.org/mlaoleppd/VAMT_3_0_error.png any advise please !
