it all works fine although whne i do run it on my Acer it reports back that my bios is using a dell slic and under rw everything it reads it as acer which it should be, is this a problem with my computer?

 

If you are using a software loader(by daz or any other) then i think it could be because of that. as the loader has installed the dell slic to activate W7.
you can change that by again running the software loader and selecting the acer bios in option of the loader.

Hope it solves your problem.

 

thanks for your suggestion but i have a modded bios of this site but that were it gets stranger i have since has a look at other software from this site and that reports back as an acer bios which it should be, the software i have used is rw everything.

 

post a screen shot of my app and rw everything at the same time and ill try and see how it got messed up

 

Hi PAYMYRENT, during my testing of your Key-Cert-Branding Tool 1.2, there's an area that skipped me; the Visual Tweaks. I enabled Dream Scene yesterday, but it doesn't seem to work.

After activation, I right click on desktop, clicked "Personalize", then "Desktop Background". I then used the "Browse" button to searched for DreamScene Videa but it's not visible. Is there something I need to do to make it work?

Windows 7 Ultimate x64

 

You will have to add the Video you want to use to make it work

 

it gets stranger still it all seems to be working now maybe it was a glitch with my computer but all is A ok cheers what a great program.

 

tell me if you have any other problems there might be a minor update that fixes two problems i found

 

PAYMYRENT, did you look into the official signing stuff i pm'ed you, did it work?

 

yea i looked at it i havent got the chance to get the signing certs tho

you can add your own logos to the program as long as you have the reg entries right

well i just had an idea and i was wondering if anyone would like to see it in the app.

its a custom oem info dialog with an exportable file to be used on multiple machines (just to get rid of the complaints of the old logos )

it will be a stand alone app also.
