Moon Treaty :g: Now I wonder why most of them don't want to ratify it!

Also, we must not forget that Gumby went to the Moon before NASA. :D

With the possibilities of cinematic and CGI technologies plus photoshopping techniques, I’m afraid images or video scenes mean little nowadays.

Which is why it has become a belief system.
When that belief system is challenged the brain can short curcuit in a myrad of ways...

A prime example of what I mean is this loony who believes the planes in all the newscasts on 9/11 were CGI'd.

NSFW - Foul language, idiotic ideas.

You are partially right in that advanced technologies were not available back then, certainly not so widely and of the same sophistication. But equally, NASA & Co were sure to possess something far more advanced than generally available to others. And neither of the images I posted would demand very advanced technologies. Cinematic trickery and photo-retouching would have been sufficient. As for the effects in Strar Trek, personally I do find them impressive.

Of course, none of the above proves the moon landing was a fake, and as I said previously, I do not at present consider it as such myself. I was merely making the point than images and videos in general don’t prove much.

I never said they were, but for example, present your first hand knowlege to Nico Haupt in the above video.
His belief system is so ingrained that he will call you every name in the book and some others which are not in the book in a vain attempt to discredit you and by extension what you witnessed.

The "moonbats", as I like to call them, are very much in the same vein as Haupt.

@JFKI: I wouldn't even talk to that asshole. If I did, and he did something to me like that, He'd be in the hospital and I'd be in Central Booking, getting ready for that bus ride to Rikers. ;)

On a more sane note, If somebody want's to believe that something is a certain way, who am I to try to convince them otherwise.

In my life and travels, I've encountered many people, most of which suffer from some sort of mental dysfunction / disorder. TBH, I just don't associate with 'sane' or 'normal' people.
For one thing, I just don't trust them.

Not to mention the fact that they're no fun. :)

I have my problems just like everybody else. But I'm honest with myself about them.

My motto is: Enjoy your neurosis. ;)

With teeth missing, Bat would lisp, which explains saying "hims" instead of "him" and "teeths" instead of "teeth". ;)

And the fact that the "Moon rocks" were not cheese proves that the landing was a hoax. :D
