@doclucas, one thing i notice both installations have this in the MGADiag report Maybe WAT checks for valid Windows & Office ?
I believe it does cause my WAT report says "N/A" for OGA but I have MS Office 2010 Beta installed lol.
I suppose I should ask, anyone here running successfully with Gigabyte MB, bios mod, and WAT installed? I have a Gigabyte board, and will try some tests, tonight hopefully.
Noticed that as well - even some of those posts on the M$ forum have that blocked VLK entry - but why flag the OS for an office violation? Maybe uninstall office and try valigating? All in all we need lots more testing!
Why not? Both are MS product, both make use of Product activation and both are reported by MGADiag... No need to un-install Office, Save and backup the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Registration\{GUID} registry subkeys Delete these subkeys, re-validate Windows
running SSV2 asus cert and key ultimate ran and installed wat and WGA and i am still activated and passed no problems so far
Yes. Win7 ultimate x64. GA-EX58-UD5 Gigabyte 2.1 SLIC using Award tool 133 and method SSV3. Gigabyte Cert Randomly chosen Ultimate key: -HYRR2. No problems with WAT, all genuine. No loaders or hacks have ever touched the system. Installed from 'untouched' ISO, not some AIO pre-activated wonder. -- SC

Compared the outputs of both doclucas' and Stormcrow's gigbyte results - the only major difference is the SLIC (besides the obvious like HWID's etc) SLIC DELL QA09 vs SLIC GBT GBTUACPI.
Hi guys, I noticed these anomalies below: doclucas's GA-X58A-UD7 [flagged as not genuine] OEM Activation 2.0 Data--> BIOS valid for OA 2.0: yes Windows marker version: 0x20001 OEMID and OEMTableID Consistent: yes BIOS Information: ACPI Table Name OEMID Value OEMTableID Value APIC DELL GBTUACPI FACP DELL GBTUACPI HPET DELL GBTUACPI MCFG DELL GBTUACPI EUDS GBT TAMG GBT GBT B0 SLIC DELL QA09 SSDT INTEL PPM RCM Stormcrow's GA-EX58-UD5 [genuine] OEM Activation 2.0 Data--> BIOS valid for OA 2.0: yes Windows marker version: 0x20001 OEMID and OEMTableID Consistent: yes BIOS Information: ACPI Table Name OEMID Value OEMTableID Value APIC GBT GBTUACPI FACP GBT GBTUACPI HPET GBT GBTUACPI MCFG GBT GBTUACPI EUDS GBT TAMG GBT GBT B0 SLIC GBT GBTUACPI SSDT INTEL PPM RCM Must OEMID Values and OEMTableID Values match?
Code: 0xC004C008 The activation server determined that the specified activation key could not be used. Cached Validation Code: 0xc004c4ab This line in the Diagnostic Report means your Windows need to be Activated.
