With WAT expected to evolve into much more of a nuiscance than it already is, which method of activation stands a better chance of escaping deactivation: bios mod, cert & key or a trusted loader? The reason I ask is because I will be doing a clean install of Win 7 64bit on a system that is already bios modded and running Win 7 32bit. Long term though I would prefer not to deal with WAT issues should WAT become mandatory.
I contemplated on the same thing a week or so ago. But like you said, Wat is evolving and we can't be certain which option is better. I think that at this point, which ever works is acceptable. In my case, I opted for a clean install with a bios mod, cert and key. I figured, if it fails validation, I could then go back to using a loader.... that's if the favorite Daz loader remains unscathed. Just my thoughts...
That makes sense, the bios mod is already there so I guess I'll use it first. I've got 2 systems, one bios modded and one running Daz's loader. Both have the WAT update installed and both pass genuine. What I'm thinking now is if I run into problems with the bios mod I can try the different options in Daz's loader to fix it.
I am looking for the SLIC BIOS and CERT for the GA-MA790FXT-UD5P motherboard. Do you have a link for it, as I cannot find it at all?
I accidently installed the wat update "again" on the 4th march, but I only just noticed yesterday and windows was still genuine. I still uninstalled it though...anyone know how often it scans?
The funny thing is I never installed from WU, it still hasn't appeared on there for me. I downloaded georges pack and must of installed it without looking at the KB number.
