you need to do a little research friend. oem is exactly what it is and its half the price of retail just look at the links in my post above and see for yourself. seeing is believing!
so in theroy then i wasnt wrong because i was on about OEM SLP not oem so in my mind i was right but everyone else knew what they was on about so they was right too not my fault i didnt know there were 2 oems yes yes i seen the links to me being proved wrong i didnt realise there was that many OEMS avaible and hazar thanks again for your input you just love proving me wrong today i am sorry
I think it's time for me to send a foto of the box which contains OEM version ( with hidden sticker of course which is not still installed on the computer and will be never installed on it!!) I agree some of you saying that box is minimum. No book to explain (not necessary with such a forum!!!!! Thanks Hazar, Daz ant many other... you are better than a bible) I repeat, my OEM version is ORIGINAL and the retailer is well known on Belgian market Thanks
You can definatly buy a OEM CD which is a lot cheape then the retail one. The OEM version are meant for systembuilders but many distributors also sell to to end custumoer with no support. The only requirment is that you also buy a harddrive with it but they don't keep control of that so you can simply buy an OEM cd and you get a oem key also + install disc.
you learn somethings new everyday thankyou again for everyone being so hopeful and i think i took this post a bit off track sorry for that to thank you for everyone being so nice too any other forum woulda said how thick i am wich i already no so dnt need tellin agen i will certainly look more at this OEM thank you all once again
I can't find the link this moment but you can even buy a legit key only (NO CD) another 10 euro cheaper the name is "Medialess License Kit ---No Discs Included. I have one here for office 2007.
actually then this rasies another question i think YEN said in his earlier post that all that all the OEMS with older motherboards would probably be found as fake.- to change it change bios clock but to be honest it dont matter how old your motherboard is i could go and buy a OEM today and put it on my old motherboard and that would be legit am i right??
i have no idea not clever enough to no this as a guess at startup press f5 or del and look in bios settings somewere in there???
the OEM were I am talking about you have to activate online , it is the same way as a retail but then cheaper.
